The Craft Building is a building where the player can create various items. Each item has a cost in terms of resources, which may be mana stones, essences, or other crafting materials.
Any type of rune can be crafted if you have the materials. The type of materials required vary based on the type of rune, but they all drop in the rune dungeons (Giant's Keep, Dragon's Lair, Necropolis). You will receive a rune which has random substats, just as if it had dropped normally.

The "team" runes are Fight, Determination, Enhance, Accuracy, and Tolerance. Additionally hese runes can also be looted in the Rift Dungeons.
To make the attack-type homunculus you'll need 200 Frozen Water Crystals, 400 Flaming Fire Crystals, 200 Whirling Wind Crystals, 400 Condensed Magic Crystals, and 100,000 mana stones. For the support-type homunculus you'll need 400 Shiny Light Crystals, 400 Pitch-black Crystals, 400 Condensed Magic Crystals, and 100,000 mana stones. These materials (Crystals) can be found in the Rift Dungeons. The homunculus created will be of Fire element (Attack-type) or Light (Support-type), and can then be evolved into other elements if so desired. See the main article Homunculus for more details.
The origin is still unknown despite the effort of many historians. Some say that the glowing letters in the middle has something to do with its origin.
