Homunculus - Fire, Wind, WaterHomunculus - Light, Dark

The "Homunculus" is a special monster that can only be obtained through crafting at the Craft Building. Like regular monsters, it possesses various types (Attack and Support), as well as various battle skills and passive abilities. It can also be evolved and awakened. Unique to the Homunculus is the ability for players to choose its elemental attribute, its name, as well as its skills.

Summoning the Homunculus requires various crystals which can be obtained only from the elemental rift dungeons in the Rift of Worlds. Players can have both the Support and the Attack Homunculus, but only 1 of each.

To summon the Homunculus, players are required to gather the following:

Once enough materials are gathered, players can summon the Homunculus at the Craft Building and then give its name (consists of 15 letters and signs but no spaces).

RestrictionsEdit

Currently, only one Homunculus of each type may be summoned at once by any player. This means a player cannot possess two attack type or two support type Homunculus at once. As only the attack and support type exist, that means only two Homunculus may be possessed.

Additionally, there are restrictions to what areas a Homunculus may be used. Currently, they cannot be used in Arena or Guild Wars defensive teams, nor can they be used in real-time arena.

CustomizationEdit

Once players have the required materials and have summoned the Homunculus, players will be required to immediately to choose a name for it. Once summoned, the Homunculus will automatically default to being a Fire monster (Attack type) or Light monster (Support type). To change its element, players need only to evolve its first skill to the elemental equivalent desired. Should players ever wish to change the name of the Homunculus, players can purchase a Homunculus Name Change Ticket in the Shop for 150 Crystals.

SkillsEdit

Unlike regular monsters, players can evolve the Homunculus' skills to a more powerful version.

The Homunculus will start with the following skills:

Magic Bullet Throws a magic ball to attack the enemy target and weakens the Defense for 2 turns with a 50% chance. (Reusable in 4 turns)
Magic Power Burst Attacks the enemy target to inflict damage. The damage increases by 20% for each harmful effect on the enemy. (Reusable in 5 turns)
Magic Power Explosion (Passive) Revives with 50% HP when you’re inflicted with fatal damage and falls under the Magic Power Explosion state for 2 turns. The Magic Power Explosion state will increase the damage inflicted to the enemies by 30%, but you’ll be uncontrollable and die when the effect ends. [Automatic Effect] (Reusable in 10 turns)

Mana Shock Uses Mana to attack the enemy and inflict damage.
Operation Support Recovers an ally's HP by 20%. (Reusable in 4 turns)
Protection Field Creates a shield that absorbs damage proportionate to your level on all allies and increases their Defense for 2 turns. (Reusable in 6 turns)
Magic Power Explosion II (Passive) Revives with 50% HP when you're inflicted with fatal damage, and resets the skill cooldown time of all skills and fall under the Magic Power Explosion state for 2 turns. You'll be uncontrolable under the Magic Power Explosion state and be defeated when the effect ends. [Automatic Effect] (Reusable in 10 turns)


Once a player has evolved its first skill once, players can then choose to keep the fire equivalent of the skill, or change to the elemental version desired by the player. The chosen elemental equivalent decides the element of the Homunculus. Afterwords, players may then evolve each of its next two skills to the version desired. In total, there are five stages of skill evolution.

Additionally, players may also increase the level of the skills like regular monsters. Currently, it is only possible to skillup the Homunculus using Devilmon.

Skill/element resetEdit

At any point, players can choose to reset the skills of their Homunculus, causing their skills to revert back to the default versions, as well as their element back to the default of fire. Players can choose either of the following two payment options:

Once the skills of the Homunculus have been reset, players can evolve their skills back up to the highest point attained previously at no additional cost. As well, previous skillups will be retained after skill resetting. Finally, if players change the element of their Homunculus, they don't need to awaken it again.
